Filmed between the 20th– 26th March, 2026, in Urban South Bengaluru area of Bannerghatta Road, 7 Poems of Form Trapped in the Middle of Chaos or Time held in the arms of Love? Is an ultra-low-resolution,
digitally distressed view of 7 scenes of quite abandonment in the
midst of peak urban chaos. Focusing on concrete structures that were built and then left to themselves for years (for various reasons) the film, made from field recordings, is structured into two parts:
1: the first in which the visual integrity of the digital image is intentionally corrupted via the process of technical glitching (using signal overdrive, pixilation and file corruption), BUT keeping the sounds of the place and time intact
2: The second part features the same scenes where the visual image is presented in low-resolution and image integrity kept relatively intact (and yet steadily degrading), BUT the sound track is heavily distressed and turned it into a near-uniform-drone. This conversion of audio was conducted by distressing of the audio signal via heavy pitch shifting, signal clipping, envelope manipulation and overdriving speaker performance. The technical methods used to create this film fall in line with the artists approach of Fragmentism. In this case the literal breakdown of visual and soniccomponents of the film and allowing errors, glitches and other artifacts in to aid story telling.
